The National Bull Moose Party ("NBMP," "we," "us") is a political organization registered under Section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code. This policy explains what information we collect through nationalbullmooseparty.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We only collect information you choose to give us. That happens in three ways:
Membership & Volunteer form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), state of residence, the roles you are interested in, your interest in the party, your skills and experience, and any resume or cover letter text you choose to include.
On the Stump Q&A form: your name, email address, phone number, the district you are campaigning for, your background, how you heard about us, your ideological alignment, your policy priorities and qualifications, your availability, and whether you consent to a streamed or recorded Q&A.
Email: anything you send to one of our natbmp.org addresses.
We do not collect payment information on this site, and we do not run advertising or ad tracking on it.
To process membership and volunteer interest and match people with roles
To review candidates and schedule On the Stump Q&A sessions
To reply to messages and send party communications you have signed up for
To keep internal party records
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
If you consent to a streamed or recorded Q&A, the recording, including your name, image, voice, and statements, may be published on NBMP channels.
Our website and forms run on Google services (Google Sites, Google Forms, and Google Workspace). Our newsletter is published on Substack, and our meetings take place on Discord. When you use those services, their own privacy policies also apply: Google, Substack, and Discord.
We share information with NBMP officers and volunteers only when they need it to do party work, or when the law requires it.
Google Sites and embedded Google content, such as forms and calendars, may set cookies to run the site and remember preferences. NBMP does not use cookies for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Form submissions and emails are stored with Google, with access limited to NBMP officers and the volunteers who need it. We keep information only as long as it serves the purposes above or as the law requires.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you have given us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@natbmp.org.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
